I can't resist...

... bringing back this little guy.
He started out way back in January 2012.

I brought him back at the end of March 2012 and we haven't seen him since.
So I thought we could check in on him and see how he's doing.
Say so long!

There's no telling when we'll see him again, if ever.

This is what happens when I can't ride.

Having fun yet David? I can't believe you've let such a little (smirk) bit of snow stop you from riding ... I would have thought that by now you'd have ordered some studded tires ;oD

Karen, cabin fever is a terrible thing.

The nice thing about a blog is you can check on the past easily and reliably.

April 13, 2010, March 20, 2011, March 19, 2012, and April 4, 2013. That's when the ScootCommutes began in the past.

It just feels worse this year. Siiiiiiiggggh!

I used to feel that way, getting antsy through the long winter but not anymore. I've been having a blast with the snow and ice. In fact, even more than in the Summer.

Hack your Vespa!

I think we all get a little cabin fever this time of year.

Only difference here on the west coast is we had a week or so of sun to tease us and we are back to downpours every day with the same for the next 6 days. Sure we could ride in the pouring rain, but it just isn't as much fun.

I can't complain though, at lest it isn't freezing and there is no snow on the ground.

So funny! That dude is busy, eh?

Yep, I know what you mean. I'm chomping at the bit everyday and watching the weather like a hawk daily.

I am even thinking of relocating to a warmer clime...

I like that little dude. Don't let him hang out to dry.

Cabin fever, eh? Used to have that in Alberta, not so much at the Wet Coast, and not at all so far in the Black Forest...

Help ! I'm trapped in your SPAM FILTER, I think. Or else I'm losing it

You're lucky you can look back. Everything I had posted before October 2012 is sort of , gone. That even includes the iMBC2012

Oh no Bob ... you've lost the the iMBC2012, now that is devastating.

Richard, there are Vespa hacks out there. There's a vintage one serving as a prop in a boutique downtown and another I saw in Vancouver in use by an Italian restaurant to attract attention. It was often parked outside the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel.

I know both you and Dom are dedicated hacksters, and Bob has experience as a hack monkey. I'm still having too much fun with two wheels. Who knows? Maybe I'll one day explore life on three.

Actually, my Italian adventure will be on three, but MP3s don't really count.

Brandy, today was supposed to be positive temps and some rain... and IT'S SNOWING %^€>!"?!$!!!

Deb, it just seems so drawn out, but it's also a fact. Maple syrup production hasn't started, the huge lake here is frozen solid. It's enough already!!

I like the little dude too. He's spunky!

Bob, you can't be trapped, you've got a key ;)

I know you lost your online blog photos when the provider you were using shut down. Are you using Blogger and Picasa now?

David:

I gave the key back. I did make a comment which never appeared similar to Richard's about getting a Hack.

Words without photos . . . are just words with little meaning. I do have it backed up to PDF but I can't post PDFs and I have no idea where the images are. I have too many harddrives and they are all scattered, mainly on DVDs as that was what I was doing before I decided to just use external HDs.

I am using Picasa with Blogger now and they work nicely together, sort of. Even though they own Youtube I have to use Firefox to embed the HTML, otherwise I have to use Google Chrome to post, so I have a mixed workflow as Google Chrome does not give me the HTML window

Karen:

iMBC2012 in Baker City was the best thing that happened to me and I wished that we could turn back the clock. I wouldn't mind turning back the clock for KOA2013Atlantic either.

Bob, I hadn't noticed you gave up your author rights on ScootCommute. You're welcome to have it back :)

I checked the spam filter and you're not there.

You could get the photos out of the PDF file.

... and we got another dump on the weekend while we were in Toronto enjoying spring, finally. Bikes were out there (I spotted a Vespa ET, and some motorcycles).
