Boooooooooooooo!

Happy Halloween!

This is T-H-E day for all those who ride orange Vespas!  Get your spook on you guys!

Changing the exposure on today's image of Lake St-Louis in the morning reveals more of who was hanging out all night just for this occasion.
Ride safely, and spookily!

By the way... it is November and you are still riding!!!

Thanks Sonja! The weather's kind of holding in positive territory. Also I have better gear this year, the windscreen helps with the hands. If I had heated grips and a lined jacket I'd just keep going!

David:

you can buy those one time use hand warmers, but expensive in the long run. How about an old fashioned rubber hot water bottle ? Fill it up at home and ride until the water cools.

I had an idea a long time ago with diverting your exhaust through the tubes of your bike, or with any watercooled engine, have a diverter to flow the water inside the handlebars.

it was freezing this morning, frost on the windshields, so no riding

Bob, it was cold today. Zero Celsius when I set out this morning. There was frost on the lakeside lawns. I had my visor closed to the last notch. My windscreen protected my hands sufficiently so that my fingers were merely cold when I got to work, not numb or anything. When I take my gloves off I put my hands one at a time on the headlight. Ahhhhhh! Feels great.
