The birth and evolution of an icon

You don't need to understand Italian to learn how the Vespa GTS 300 Super is the reigning icon of a legendary brand.

Oh.

I clicked on the title thinking it was going to be a memoir.

Bob, we're doing this the Italian way. Italians have many expressions. One of them is "piano, piano". It means, essentially "slowly, slowly" or "softly, softly". You're from the west coast man... chill, savour the moment, relax, go sit on that bench under the Granville bridge, cross your legs, look at the condos without seeing them, breathe from your nose until you don't know you're breathing... now don't you feel better already?

A memoir... interesting. I'm almost old enough to write a memoir but my life has been too boring. No mistresses, no vices to mention, never been beaten senseless, never woke up in a strange place not knowing how I got there, never been the subject of adulation (perhaps mild interest, but no worship or anything), never been to Africa, or South America. Nope, no memoir potential here. Sorry to disappoint you Keith. I'll have to try harder.

Really? No mistress? No vices? No one taking out a contract on your life? Huh...I guess Sue is right, I've had an intersting life. :P

Rob, looks like we've got Sue's in common. Except you've had an interesting life. I'm sure glad my Sue has stuck it out through unexceptional times :)
