The thrill is gone...

... the thrill is gone away, the thrill is gone baby...
'Cause the snow has come, the snow has come my way...

Yes indeed, B.B. King and the weather has me singing the blues.

So long black Vespa...
Hello black Honda.

It is time to accept the inevitable. I hope that winter won't last too long, and we will be back on the road soon.

No......the horror.

Snow happens. Doesn't look like enough that you have to shovel it yet though and that is good.

Yes, and yesterday night I came down with the sniffles.

Aren't you sweet. You're lucky you're out of range of my sneezes.

Correction, it happened. Hats off to you Keith, you are a true rounder. So from now until March I get my riding needs filled vicariously by you and Steve Williams.

I was just looking at my calendar. Is next Wednesday "B" Day ? Don't forget your GoPro, LF1 and swim trunks and be assured I will be thinking about you . . .

Yes, doesn't it. We picked Arctic Frost. Glad you like it.

That's nothing. Don't even need snow tires for that dusting.

Later on it might get interesting, like when only our X3 AWD with premium snow tires is up to the task.

We're experts at snow in Montreal, not much stops us, not even flights out of Trudeau. We use a ridiculous amount of de-icing fluid and send off into the white beyond. Not for the faint of heart pilot-wise.

Aaaargh! You're not paying attention, I had to pull the plug on Barbados, nixed it, cancelled it, pulled out, refused to go, turned my back on it, demurred, yanked it, and it's not happening, at least not for me. It's crazy time here. No way I can take all that time.

Barbados is hard to get to. A full day lost in travel on either end. To give a conference on Friday I would have lost Thursday and Monday, not to mention the Friday. The stress would have killed me.
