Dar, I found it!

My Montreal spring is lingering in Vancouver, bathing the city in blessed rain, coily revealing her morning beauty through a misty veil.
Now, how do I entice it to venture east?

just checking in. I notice 197. It's my job to nudge that number much higher before you leave . . .

Oh, welcome to the land of Spring like weather. You don't have to shovel rain

Don't let Bob be a bad influence....

Where are the photos taken from? A hotel?

Ah, the wet coast again. Are you staying in the Pan Pacific? Nice venue. We had a beautiful view towards Stanley Park when we stayed there during Holidays 2008/09.

Dont worry, I am wary of Bob's dark side.

The view is the coal harbor view from room 1715 at the Fairmont Waterfront. A very nice place to be in a great city, where spring is.

Richard:

The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel Vancouver would be my guess

It looks like Bob's dark side is speaking that which isn't fit to print (maybe like hollandaise or other buttery concoction!)

Richard, I am not fluent in Emoticonese, but I think Bob is offering to let me have the V-Strom for a song.

Yay! Persistence pays off!!!!! Now if only you could take the Pineapple Express weather back home and get spring rocking & rolling out East!

You'll have to take it back on the wings of the plane David........

By "it" you mean his new-to-him V-Strom that David got by singing?

I'll spring for a cozy crate in the cargo hold :)

Dar, positive thinking and good karma may do the trick :)

David the weather in Montreal got up to almost not freezing yesterday ... but you have some heaping big piles of snow to melt through down here.
