Westward, the wet coast beckons

I'm a little homesick.  I'm also a little hungry.  Where's Bob?

Just sitting here in Vancouver, waiting for Bob.
Where is he? Hi Sonja!  What are you and Roland up to?

The blog as real-time communication.  Fascinating.

Well heck you forgot about me!

Ah Dar, don't be silly, I didn't forget about you, I just didn't go far enough West.

Now if you baked us a pie, Bob and I will hop a ferry.

Bob says you're welcome to join us for dinner. He says that you could save the ferry fare, just hop into your swimsuit and come on over.

So close, and yet, so far away. Or is it the other way round? I miss Vancouver but I am content (for now) with the new place we found. Enjoy your stay, David.

Will apple pie work with a fresh butter pastry crust? As or swimming nope not gonna happen ;)

Thanks Sonja. If it makes you feel better, the air is chilly, fog is blanketing the city. It's dismal.

Have you had trouble re-adjusting to sunshine?

Mmmmm... pie. Tempting. So close, but like Sonja says, so far :(

Well, where's the update? Did he ever show up?

Is this real time?

Bob did finally show up. We went to the Tomahawk for a huge breakfast.

And no, not even close to real time. As I write this, dinner with the BC Corvette Club is wrapping up. I think I might now be an honorary member. I may have to buy a Vette.

"I may have to buy a Vette."

Could be worse…

As a matter of fact sunshine was an issue in the beginning but I got used to it ;-)

Any vette pics?
Regards len

Sorry Len, Bob's Vette is tucked away waiting for spring and none of the other members had their Vettes out either. There was a lot of discussion about how the Corvette air intake vacuums up leaves and debris and how annoying that quirk is. That might contribute to storing the car as soon as fall arrives.

I think you and Bob have entirely too much fun when you get together. But that is a good thing.

I still have photos from the last time which have not yet been posted.

I can't wait to get back to Montreal, David has the Inside Track . . .
