I started the installation of Hot Grips™ heated grips today.
It's an ambitious project, so it's going to take me a while to complete, and it's also going to take some time and patience to produce a decent project report.
So I'll be working hard behind the scenes here at the Scoot Commute, but readers will have to be patient waiting for the next post.
There's only so much a blogger and amateur mechanic can handle in his spare time.
Oh well... anticipation is half the fun.
Enjoy the reader's hiatus!

Okay, so that's why I left it up to my mechanic! Good luck (they are so worth it!)
+1 VStar Lady.

There are two versions of "HOT GRIPS", if you bought the velcro ones you could have just velcro'ed them to the handlebars and plugged the other end into your battery tender plug (SAE 2 pin), and be mobile in less than a minute

Bob, there'd be no suspense, no possibility of failure, no cool dash mounted control, no chance of wiping out the battery and be stranded, very little to brag about, no project report...

Ship your Vespa to Vancouver. I like to drill holes in other rider's bikes. I can solder and do the wiring, but I can't remove your OEM grips . . . ship it out in April, fly home, come back for the May scooter rally in Victoria. You can thank me later, for suggesting this
