Good for the grass... and Civics

Mother nature has grounded my Vespa and has got me hiding out in the comfort of my Civic.
It poured cats and dogs today.

And if it gets much colder it'll be snowing!

Nice view! And I noticed that there was snow along the runway in Prudhoe Bay this morning. Winter is returning...

It's doing that here too. We are in need of rain though, so I don't mind too much.

We were finally getting some at home, didn't check the gage to know how much. Here in L.A. there was rain up in the hills yesterday but now along the coast.

Distribution hasn't been very spread out lately.

Was the rain a welcome relief from the heat?

Tell me about it. It's a like a warning shot across the bow from Old Man Winter.

OK... that's the Arctic Circle, right? There's still time to escape. Yikes!

True, BC has been blessed this summer.

We did some work in the back yard and planted grass, so ultimately the rain is welcome here too.

What's with the gang all going to L.A.?

I want to go too!

Shameful, I agree. I aspire to snowbird-dom, just so you know.

Oh, expect a call from the Labrador Anti-Defamation League. Cheyenne called me to complain bitterly about the 'pig-in-a-fur-coat'.

No! We cherish hot and steamy here, we worship at the altar of global warming.
